Fine Art Portrait Shooting in the centre of Berlin.

For this recent fine art portrait session with Julia, I was eagerly anticipating the opportunity to shoot at a highly unique location in Berlin: the Oriental Garden in the Gardens of the World. The Gardens would open in March, so the location was a sure thing.
On the day of the photo shooting, I had this intuition to call and reconfirm. Being told about a renovation only in the Oriental part of the Garden,
I was forced to find an alternative.

Gladly, I recalled a spot near Nordbahnhof with captivating grey walls that would catch and reflect light beautifully and go well together with Julia's black jumpsuit.

Typically, my style as a wedding photographer leans heavily on a documentary approach, where I aim to capture authentic moments as they unfold naturally, without much interference.

However, in portraits I follow a more hands-on approach, providing instructions and guiding the shots to achieve a unique and visually captivating result.
